Schlossturm
The Schlossturm (palace tower) on the Rhine embankment, the only preserved section of the city's palace and landmark of the state capital, today houses one of the oldest inland shipping museums in Germany. Exhibits focusing on the ecology of the river Rhine, shipbuilding history, trade and travel, along with other aspects, develop a lively picture of people and shipping both on the banks and on the river itself - from the vaulted cellar to the top floor.
